Most agency reporting comparisons put ten logos in a table, tick a lot of boxes, and leave you no better informed. The boxes look nearly identical because at this point they mostly are: connect the platforms, schedule a PDF, put your logo on it. What still separates these tools is the pricing model, which decides whether your bill scales with clients, sources or dashboards, and whether the platform can report how a client shows up inside AI assistants.

All pricing was read off the vendors' own pricing pages on 1 September 2026, and every platform name links to its source. The AI visibility column was checked the same day against each vendor's product pages, not just pricing.

Why does the pricing model matter more than the price?

Two platforms with similar headline prices can differ fivefold on your invoice, because they meter different things.

  • Per client. Predictable when clients are simple, expensive when your roster is long.
  • Per data source. One client running Google Ads, Meta, GA4 and Search Console is four sources, not one. Cheap for many simple clients, punishing for a few complex ones.
  • Per dashboard or report. You pay per artifact. Fine until a client wants a monthly report, a weekly PPC view and an always-on dashboard, which is three.
  • Per workspace. You pay for capacity rather than volume, which suits a roster that moves around.

So count your real numbers first: clients, connected accounts, reports per client. The winner flips depending on which is largest.

What does each platform cost?

Platform Entry price (annual billing) You pay per Tracks AI visibility
AgencyAnalytics $20 per client / month Client Yes, paid add-on (beta)
Swydo €69 / month (€62 annual), 10 sources Data source No, but closest. Ships an AI traffic template and ChatGPT Ads
DashThis $44 / month, 3 dashboards Dashboard No. AI writes the report; ChatGPT Ads is a data source (beta)
Databox Free, then $64 / month Data source No. AI analyses the data you connected
Looker Studio Free; Pro $9 per user per project Nothing, then your time No. Gemini helps you build the report
ReportGarden $75 / month, up to 5 clients Client bundle No
MetricsWatch $41 / month, up to 2 reports Report No

Priced per client

AgencyAnalytics is the simplest pricing here: one plan, unlimited sources, reports, dashboards and users, 85+ integrations, white-label with a custom domain. Rank tracking and AI tracking are metered add-ons on top ($41.67 per 500 keywords, $20.83 per 250 AI credits, per month), so the sticker price is rarely the final one for an SEO-heavy agency. Trafiq vs AgencyAnalytics.

ReportGarden sells bundles: $75 for up to 5 clients, $125 for up to 10, with unlimited reports and 100+ data sources. Cheaper than per-client pricing at small scale, with the usual bundle problem: client six costs the same as clients six through ten.

Priced per data source

Swydo includes 10 sources, then charges €4.50 each up to 100, €3.00 to 500 and €2.00 beyond, with no cap on clients or users. For a long roster running one or two channels each, nothing here undercuts it. It has also gone furthest on AI short of measuring visibility: ChatGPT Ads as a connectable source, and a pre-built AI Traffic template on GA4. Trafiq vs Swydo, and the wider Swydo alternatives roundup.

Databox reaches further than the report builders (130+ integrations, SQL and warehouse sources, an AI analyst, an MCP server) because it is a BI product rather than an agency product. The tell: white-labeling is a paid add-on on every self-serve tier. Trafiq vs Databox.

Priced per dashboard or report

DashThis prices in a unit you can count: one dashboard is one report, holding whatever integrations you want. Your bill tracks client-facing artifacts, which makes it easy to forecast, and the ladder runs to $429 for 50. Trafiq vs DashThis.

MetricsWatch deliberately does less: automated email reports, unlimited data sources, no hosted portal. If your clients read the monthly email and never log in, a portal is waste, and this tool admits it.

Priced on a call

Whatagraph has two plans, Max and Prime, and no self-serve route: their FAQ confirms that getting onto either means a call. Unlimited users and reports, credits for connected accounts, a dedicated success manager. Capable, and at €699 not competing for the agency choosing between the tools above it. Trafiq vs Whatagraph.

NinjaCat and TapClicks publish no pricing and sell through demos. Worth a call if you are consolidating hundreds of accounts with warehouse requirements, not if you have fifteen clients and want a price today.

Free, with your time as the price

Looker Studio will connect to nearly anything and draw nearly anything. What it will not do is the agency layer: client management, scheduled white-label delivery, per-client branding, and the ten small conveniences that turn a chart into a monthly deliverable. Agencies rebuild those by hand, then find that maintaining them is a part-time job. Trafiq vs Looker Studio.

Priced per workspace

Trafiq meters per client workspace, with AI visibility on every plan and white-label on the agency plans (pricing). It is not the cheapest option here: if all you need is a monthly PDF of Google Ads and GA4, several tools above do it for less.

Which model fits your agency?

  • Long roster, simple clients (20+ clients, one or two channels each): per data source wins, and Swydo is usually the arithmetic winner.
  • Short roster, complex clients (5 clients, six accounts each): per client wins. AgencyAnalytics or ReportGarden.
  • Fixed set of recurring deliverables: per dashboard or report. DashThis, or MetricsWatch if email is genuinely enough.
  • Data problems rather than reporting problems (blending, warehousing, SQL): Databox at the small end, NinjaCat or TapClicks at the large end.
  • Clients asking about AI search: see below. This is the requirement most of the list does not meet at any price.

Which of these tools can report AI visibility?

Two of the ten report AI visibility as a tracked metric: AgencyAnalytics through its AI Tracker add-on (in beta, credit-metered, covering ChatGPT, Google AI Overview, Google AI Mode and Claude), and Trafiq, where it is included in every plan.

Everyone else ships something called AI reporting, and three different things go by that name. Most common is AI that writes the report: Swydo's credits, Whatagraph IQ, Databox's Genie, Gemini in Looker Studio, and the agents NinjaCat and TapClicks sell. Then AI as an ad channel: Swydo and DashThis both connect ChatGPT Ads (DashThis' in beta), reporting the clicks and spend you bought inside ChatGPT. Then AI referral traffic: Swydo's AI Traffic template reads GA4 and shows how visits from AI sources convert against your site average.

That last one is the closest any of them gets, but it only sees the answers that already went your way. A visit exists because an assistant named your client and someone clicked. The answers that recommended a competitor instead produce no click, no session and no row in GA4, so a month of lost mentions looks exactly like a quiet month.

AI visibility is the other measurement: whether the assistant names your client at all, how often, beside which competitors, and accurately. The workflow is in The Agency Owner's Guide to AI Visibility Reporting, the commercial case in GEO for Agencies, and the metric itself in What Is LLM Visibility.

How should you run the comparison?

  1. Count first. Clients, connected accounts, reports per client. Price your shortlist against those three numbers, not against the headline.
  2. Price the add-ons. Rank tracking and AI tracking are separate line items on some platforms. Compare the configuration you would actually buy.
  3. Check the AI question before you sign. A one-year contract is a long time to be unable to answer something a client asks in month two. Run a client through the free AI Visibility Checker and see whether your current stack could have produced the answer.

Agencies tend to choose reporting software in an afternoon and then live with it for years. The pricing model is the part that compounds, because it decides what your bill does as the roster changes. AI visibility is the newer question, and most of this list cannot answer it at any price yet.
